Volume Master Chrome Extension

Chrome stops you from using any extension that manipulates sound from going completely full-screen so you can always see the blue rectangle indicator in the tab bar (to be aware of audio is being manipulated). There is no way around it, and it is ultimately a good thing since it keeps you safe. However, pressing F11 (on Windows) or Ctrl+Cmd+F will slightly improve the problem (on Mac).

You must have the permissions described as “Read and change all your data on the websites you visit”: to connect to and modify the AudioContext of any website playing audio, as well as to display a list of all tabs playing audio.
