Accessories
Facebook unveiled the “Elite Strap” attachment, which comes in two variations: one with a battery pack integrated into the strap and the other with a ring-shaped pad for the back of the head. Facebook also advertised Logitech headphones, including the G333 VR—the brand’s first in-ear headphones—which feature reduced wires made for use with VR headsets and are “certified” for Meta Quest 2.
Additionally, as part of the “Infinite Office” function, Facebook collaborated with Logitech to enable their K830 keyboard, enabling the keyboard to be identified and shown in a virtual reality environment.
New Touch Pro controllers for the Meta Quest Pro were announced by Meta in October 2022. These controllers are also an optional add-on for the Meta Quest 2 headsets currently in use. These controllers are smaller in size, include on-board cameras instead of infrared tracking rings for inside-out tracking, as well as pressure sensors for pinching motions and rechargeable batteries.
